Information on the vintage 1967 white Bordeaux: 5/5 A superlative vintage, the best since 1959. The curcial flowering period was late, which always leads to a late harvest. That and a wet september made life difficult for grapes destined to make dry white and red Brodeaux but sunny conditions at the end of September, together with beneficial botrytis, were doubly favorable in Sauternes resulting in fine, stylish wines, the best of which are still superb.
