A very good, somewhat underestimated yet useful vintage, now undeservedly neglected. On the whole beneficial weather conditions. A warm sunny summer, welcome showers in September and a decent-sized crop harvested in good conditions.

Château le Gay has belonged to the BOURSAUD family since 1922. Château le Gay spans 6 hectares of vineyard planted with 35% Cabernet Franc and 65% Merlot. Château Le Gay continues its pursuit of excellence. The wines of Château le Gay have a ruby color of beautiful intensity. Nose: Aromas of cherry, raspberry, blackcurrant. Palate: fruity wine with red fruit aromas and round, well-integrated tannins. This wine is very pleasant. Aging potential: between 8 and 10 years.
