Information on the vintage 1982 red Burgundy : The growing season was good: warm early spring, early flowering, fine summer, hot September, a healthy crop of ripe grapes harvested from the 20th; continuing warm weather into October. So what went wrong? Overproduction or a bumper crop resulting in lack of concentration?
