Allen Meadow - Burghound October - 1994
Allen Meadow - Burghound

Wonderfully expressive and remarkably fine and complex aromas that are fully mature but still quite fresh and vibrant are followed by round, sweet, rich, deep flavors of considerable muscle and power yet there is impeccable balance and super length. This is drinking perfectly now and I would not expect further improvement; that said, this is also holding well and should continue to do so.

Drouhin (J.)
"A revelation, a marvel! The ruby is a great beauty, she takes the nuances of the warmer with age. The intense aromas reminiscent of raspberry and wild cherry, they become more complex over the years: underbrush, truffle, candied fruit. A sublime architecture, with noble tannins and racy. The ideal of perfection by Joseph Drouhin elegant, with a remarkable balance. An astonishing persistence of flavor in the mouth. The tasting is a great emotion ".
