Robert PARKER - The Wine Advocate
The 2001 Cote Rotie la Landonne was impressive and possessed plenty of the classic warm spice, smoked meats, graphite, licorice and currant aromas and flavors that always dominate this cuvee. Medium to full-bodied, elegant and seamless on the palate, it's drinking nicely today, but should hold nicely through 2025.

Wine Spectator
(2011) This is settling in nicely, with a tarry edge still lending a lightly grippy feel, but the core of crushed plum, macerated black currant and cherry compote has melded beautifully with sanguine, mesquite and mulled spice notes. Long finish.

Maison Delas Frères
Maison Delas Frères

The Maison Delas et frères was founded in 1835 in Tournon-sur-Rhône. Managed by the Delas family until 1977, the estate was then acquired by the family-owned company Champagnes Deutz.

It is therefore Fabrice who is now at the helm of Deutz/Delas.

The Domaine Delas Frères operates several plots in different appellations. The estate currently comprises 32 hectares: 10 hectares in Hermitage, 17 hectares in Crozes-Hermitage, and 2 hectares in Saint-Joseph. The Domaine owns vines that are approximately 40 years old and carries out its harvests by hand.
