The wine level is low, which inevitably influences the perception of the tasting. The nose is quite oxidized but the palate, as is often the case in such circumstances, is very interesting. Rich, very rich even, and with a beautiful length. The end of the bottle, the next day, curiously reduces the impression of oxidation with a palate of cooked fruit but very pleasant.

The Maison Delas et frères was founded in 1835 in Tournon-sur-Rhône. Managed by the Delas family until 1977, the estate was then acquired by the family-owned company Champagnes Deutz.

It is therefore Fabrice who is now at the helm of Deutz/Delas.

The Domaine Delas Frères operates several plots in different appellations. The estate currently comprises 32 hectares: 10 hectares in Hermitage, 17 hectares in Crozes-Hermitage, and 2 hectares in Saint-Joseph. The Domaine owns vines that are approximately 40 years old and carries out its harvests by hand.
