(10-2016) This classic, old school, traditionally styled Margaux wine is medium bodied, slightly firm, fresh and lets you in on its cassis, tobacco, wet earth and red berry character. Ready to drink, there is a fresh, crisp tart edge to the red fruits in the earthy finish. Fans of this style of wine might enjoy it even more.
(01-2003) Nice warmth of coffee and leather, with chocolaty depth and gamy nuances too. An attractive picture, backed up by kirsch-like cherry fruit. Good concentration on the palate, with a fine quality of ripe cassis fruit and good tannins. Good length, and really quite attractive for a wine I don't know very well.
(03-2003) Sleek and powerful. A firm and silky red, with plum and chocolate character. Full-bodied, with compacted fruit and silky tannins. Long and silky. Needs lots of time in the bottle.
