80% Cabernet. Lighter and more open on nose with briary and autumnal aromas. Relatively simple. Much lighter and softer than the 1995 with more obvious Cabernet Sauvignon. This is a simple red wine that could even be drunk now. Tasted blind one might even take it for a New World red.
