Expert's opinions

Falstaff May - 2007
Falstaff
Strong ruby garnet, violet rim lightening. On the nose, fine praline filling, raspberries, orange peel, spices and chocolate. On the palate, fine violet fruit, juicy heart cherries, somewhat demanding tannins that still seem a little rough, extract-sweet finish, good development potential.

Château Croix De Gay
La Croix de Gay is situated on the high terrace of Pomerol, a few hundred meters from Petrus and The Gospel. Chantal Lebreton took over his father's Christmas Raynaud, disappeared after the harvest 97. Supported by her mother and brother, Alain Raynaud Dr. (Chateau Quinault), it continues a long family tradition inherited from the fifteenth century. Enthusiastic winemaker, she has incurred substantial breeding efforts in the vineyards. La Croix de Gay confirmed substantial progress in recent vintages, earning density.
