. Very beautiful color, still young. Superb fine and subtle nose that a last-minute decantation enhances. Its freshness and youth are impressive. It will evolve constantly throughout dinner: cedar, blackcurrant, creamy. The palate is a model of purity and proportion. Very distinguished, sappy, you crunch it, you suck it gently in a very beautiful length with noble tannicity. Drinks like milk. This last tasting gave me the impression that this wine still had some in reserve. So no need to rush to drink it, before 2015-2020. Lucky is he who owns it in magnum! In this container, I bet the quality of this wine would surprise many people! .

. Margaux's 1991 is a candidate for "wine of the vintage. " It reveals a deep ruby color, and a tight but promising nose of rich cassis, licorice, and toasty new oak. Dense, medium to full-bodied, with plenty of depth, it possesses moderate tannin and a long, rich finish. A bigger, more powerful wine than Margaux's 1987, it is close in quality to the estate's 1988.

Château Margaux
Château Margaux

Château Margaux is one of the most prestigious estates of the Margaux appellation and a major historical figure of Bordeaux excellence. Classified as Premier Grand Cru Classé during the official 1855 classification, the château relies on a terroir of fine and deep gravels that favors the expression of a wine of rare elegance and great aromatic complexity.

The Grand Vin of Château Margaux has been recognized since the 17th century as one of the most accomplished expressions of the Bordeaux vineyard. It owes its qualities to the combination of an exceptional terroir, demanding viticulture and vinification work oriented towards precision and balance. Tannic finesse, aromatic depth, freshness and length on the palate constitute the constant markers of the Margaux style.

Iconic vintages such as Château Margaux 1899, Château Margaux 1949, Château Margaux 1953, Château Margaux 1982, Château Margaux 1990, Château Margaux 1990, Château Margaux 2000 or the iconic Château Margaux 2015 illustrate the estate's capacity to produce wines of great complexity, capable of evolving harmoniously over several decades, while maintaining a remarkable readability of their terroir.
