Chateau Armailhac is an estate of Baron Philippe de Rothschild. It is located in Pauillac, ranked 5th cru classe in the official classification of Bordeaux wines in 1855. Acquired in 1934 by Baron Philippe de Rothschild, the estate has successively borne the name of Armailhac Mouton, Mouton Baron Philippe, Mouton Baronne Philippe before returning in 1989 to its original name: Armailhac.
