Tom Cannavan (01-1998) Good colour still, though browning. Elegant nose of sweet, flowery fruit. Lots of cedar on the palate makes it very savoury. Still suffused with black cherry, damsons and plum fruit. Nice, sweet finish too with fine, drying tannins. Excellent 1981, though needs drinking soon.
(10-1994) Drinking beautifully now, showing coffee, tobacco and chocolate character. Full-bodied and firm with silky tannins and a long rich finish.
(9-2007)
(4-1994) From its deep-coloured youth, maturing evenly, light style but constantly attractive. Certainly endorsed recently and much more appealing than the classed growths alongside.
