Château Cantenac Brown
Château Cantenac Brown
Since 2006, a sustainable farming policy has been implemented throughout the vineyard. Cantenac Brown wines are produced on stony lands in the southern part of the village, on typical Médoc gravel soil. The average age of Cantenac Brown vines is 35 years, with a planting density of 8,500 to 10,000 vines per hectare, and a yield of 45 hectoliters per hectare. The grape variety composition of Cantenac Brown consists of 65% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Merlot, and 5% Cabernet Franc, which produce wines with an intense bouquet, suitable for aging.
