. Dark red. Slight evolution. Intense and bright. Very, very beautiful. Clean. Medium intensity. Balsamic and fruity note. Rather closed. Clean. Intense. Fruity and still not very open. Inky remarks. Clean attack developing on a very tight and intense structure which evolves fleshy, very concentrated towards a very tannic but rich and still sappy finish where one sucks a very fruity, complex and long tannin without discontinuity. This wine is absolutely austere but of a breathtaking concentration in the noble side of concentration. A wine for aesthetes, potentially great but when will it gain in charm? Two people out of three love it at table. .

(4-1996). Quite lively in texture, youthful and delicious in flavor. Has developed an enticing bottle bouquet, while still being packed with cherry and currant flavors. Quite full-bodied and quite long on the finish.

Château Canon

Château Canon is a 34-hectare wine estate located in Saint-Emilion in the Gironde department. Classified as a Premier grand cru classé B in the Saint-Emilion classification, Château Canon was one of the first estates in the Bordeaux region where the vineyard held a primary place. Despite being a neighbor of Ausone and a 1er grand cru, the wine has never reached the level one might expect from it.

The acquisition of Château Canon in 1996 by the Chanel company has nevertheless given a second wind to this growth. Indeed, significant investments, particularly in the winery, have improved the quality of the wine. Château Canon is known for its meticulous selection of grapes in three stages, and there is no doubt that the work undertaken by the estate will increasingly bear fruit.
