Jean-Marc Quarin October - 1991
Jean-Marc Quarin
Dark red color. Good intensity. Vermilion reflections. Bright. Intense and fine nose. Very fruity and quite complex. Slightly vegetal note. On swirling, still this slightly green edge. But the fruit is behind. Powerful. Very beautiful fleshy attack. Development on a round, fruity and juicy structure that evolves quite ample and concentrated towards a powerful finish with still marked but savory astringency.

Château Canon

Château Canon is a 34-hectare wine estate located in Saint-Emilion in the Gironde department. Classified as a Premier grand cru classé B in the Saint-Emilion classification, Château Canon was one of the first estates in the Bordeaux region where the vineyard held a primary place. Despite being a neighbor of Ausone and a 1er grand cru, the wine has never reached the level one might expect from it.

The acquisition of Château Canon in 1996 by the Chanel company has nevertheless given a second wind to this growth. Indeed, significant investments, particularly in the winery, have improved the quality of the wine. Château Canon is known for its meticulous selection of grapes in three stages, and there is no doubt that the work undertaken by the estate will increasingly bear fruit.
