Bottle was in great shape, wine was in best form after about 20-30 min and then small window. Still drinks nicely but a bit tired and on the decline. Still was a pleasure to drink.

German Stephan von Neipperg has spared no effort to restore the former glory of this highly reputed château in the years following World War II. Cultivation has become more rigorous, yields have been significantly reduced, and vinification has embraced modern methods, giving the wines remarkable concentration. The château also produces a very expensive and highly sought-after cuvée outside the appellation, called Mondotte.
