This is a complete wine, full of both tannins and great swathes of ripe fruit. It has a serious side as well in its solid structure and concentration. The juicy blackberry fruits are beginning to calm down and meld into a fine dense wine that will age very well. Drink from 2025.

Dark, beautiful and intense color. Very aromatic nose, with fresh and ripe fruit. Nuance of cedar wood. Silky, juicy and rich in flavors in the mid-palate. The wine develops a long profile and ends deliciously on a fine grain. Good length.

This is a wonderful vintage at Brane-Cantenac with lifted floral and red fruits on the nose and a focused, lovely acidity running through the wine. There is detail, precision and freshness in this wine with a fairly long finish. Two samples of this wine were tasted and one was noticeably better than the second one tasted at the UGC.

Deep garnet. Ripe and evolved dark fruits though still fresh. Acidity is pretty high and accentuates the tannins yet the fruit is there at the core. I went back to this and raised my score half a point. Needs time but everything is in place for a longer life than for many 2014s.

The Château Brane Cantenac is a french estate of  75 ha located of the left bank of Bordeaux. In Margaux appellation, the Château Brane Cantenac is a second cru classé of Médoc classification of 1855.

The great wine, Château Brane Cantenac is a classic of the Margaux appellation, silky and very fruity, the best vintages are 1995, 1996, the vintage 2000 and wines of 2005 and 2009 and the vintage 2010. the Château also produce a second label : "Le Baron de Brane" and a third wine :  "Margaux de Brane".
