(03-1993) Red, black color. Slight evolution. Brilliant. Beautiful. Nose of medium intensity. Dominant toasted wood so dear to American critics. With monolithic agitation. Short attack developing on a light-bodied, caressing and well-balanced structure that evolves into a finish of correct length, simple, aroma where the "toasting" supplants the fruit.

Henri Lurton is the soul of this estate which already had a good reputation in the eighteenth century. It is true that the terroir is superb. He adds his style, harveting at the height of ripemess, strictly sorting the grapes, stamping the mark of the terroir on the wines, with a richer raw material, a new aromatic complexity and elegance that allow the wines to age longer than in the past. A great Margaux at affordable prices.
