(4-1999). A rich and slightly earthy wine, but wonderfully fruity. Dark ruby-red color and blackberry, dark chocolate and earth. Medium- to full-bodied, with chewy tannins and a slightly rustic yet caressing finish.

(7-1997). Dark red. Medium intensity. Evolved. Fair. Medium intensity. Hint of curry. Touch of alcohol. Quite fine. I'm going. Spicy. Thin attack, developing on a rounded structure in the mid-palate, which evolves with ripe fruit on resinous flavors, quite powerful, towards a smooth finish where the resin returns. The finish is a bit short and lacks flesh. One appreciates the ripe character but it remains simple.
