Burghound (Allen Meadow)
(4-2003)
Sweet and smoky black fruit aromas trimmed in deft touches of wood spice explode from the glass followed by big, sappy, mouth coating flavors underpinned by ever so slightly rustic tannins and excellent length. This is quite muscular, especially for up slope Echézeaux and delivers outstanding flavor authority with style and grace.
