Mid copper colour without that much effervescence but a very tight bead. Masses of white truffle and mushroom on the nose with a hint of cheese – even camembert. Really, really distinctive. So unlike most champagne; so like Bollinger! Great freshness on the palate which is broad and satisfying. Definitively not a wine to sip casually as an aperitif. Long and haunting.

Bright golden yellow color. Classic, rich, complex nose of dried fruits, sweet spices, vanilla, with a hint of rancio. The palate presents the same pleasant classicism, with that wonderful blend of pinot and chardonnay, the hallmark of the house.
