(01-1997) Color Red. Beautiful. A little dull. Good intensity. 1st Nose Net. Toasted. Smoked to excess. Agitation Idem. Mouth Soft attack. Round structure, medium body, evolving on firm tannins, all impregnated with the flavor of wood. Persistence medium and simple.

(01-1997) Bountiful for the vintage. Plenty of black olive and fruit aromas and flavors. Full-bodied, with lovely velvety tannins and a very long finish.

Beauregard
Chateau Beauregard a soil complex, serious and clay mixed with sand A classic grape varieties Merlot combines majority (65%) with tannic Cabernets for the contribution and the thickness (30% Cabernet Franc and 5% Cabernet Sauvignon ). Château Beauregard is undergoing extensive renovation operation of the vineyard and winery since 1991 undertaken by the new owner (Crédit Foncier de France) should gradually raise the good claret with great potential in the forefront of the appellation. The choice of delayed harvest, an extended maceration (3-5 weeks), and the creation of a second wine can already taste the fruits of renewal: a very dark color almost black, marked by a bouquet of black fruit and wood quality and flavor slush on tannins that promise a good guard.
