Château Beau Séjour Bécot
Beau-Sejour Becot is located in the heart of Saint-Emilion. 1er grand cru classé B de Saint EmilionOwner: Gerard and Dominique BecotDirector: Gerard and Dominique BecotOenologue : Michel Rolland, Jean-Philippe Fort1er grand cru classé BBeautifully situated on the limestone plateau, Beau-Sejour Becot is one of the eleven 1st Grands Crus B of St. Emilion. In 1986, a year after the retirement of Michael Bécot, it had been demoted to Grand Cru which was then under the spotlight. But the energy of his two son, Gerard and Dominique, has allowed the chateau to regain its original classement in1996. The team of Beau-Sejour Becot also works between on two adjacent properties, the Chateau Grand Pontet, led by their sister Sylvie Pourquet, and La Gomerie, a 100% opulent Merlot sold at high prices. Beau-Sejour Becot represents the essence of great wine of the appellation, concentrated, solid, and nervous. It accumulates a dazzling complexity during aging.
