(3-2015) Wonderful lifted flavors that are just starting to open up now - aged tobacco, sweet leather and spices. Lifted and still youthful with good balance and intensity. The wine is just peaking and is drinking beautifully now but should keep for another decade.

(5-2009) Pretty unevolved crimson in hue though the rim is starting to fade. Hint of buckwheat on the nose. A little jagged next to the completeness of the Tour Haut-Brion. Bloody and quite dry and solid on the finish. The tannins are more rustic than the Tour Haut-Brion. Relatively light. Good balance.

(1-2003) Dark red. Beautiful. Intense. Net. Average intensity. Fruity. Smoke. Dominant toasted note on a vanilla background. Cherry touch. Wine pulp entering the mouth thoroughly and offering flesh on a normal concentration. Interest lies in the melting character without loss of matter. Tannins well coated, always a little firm but really well balanced. Normal length. This is one of the best vintages from this wine.
