(8-2002) (from vines in Aloxe that are on the Ladoix border, aged in 65% new wood). Already quite expressive with aromas of ripe peach, green apples and a touch of grilled nuts plus intense, subtle, ever so slightly sweet flavors that are deftly framed by a bit of oak toast. Approachable but not soft, this should require 5 to 7 years to be at its best.
