Jean-Marc Quarin
(7-2004) Very colorful wine, smelling of just-ripe Cabernet Sauvignon with hints of undergrowth. The fruit is there, the fruity note too. On the palate, I find the balance values of Borie vinifications. In fact, the tannin never interferes, which makes this wine pleasant to drink right now. Good but not sophisticated, it nevertheless leaves a fruity aromatic character. A Saint-Julien on the forest side that does not have the class of the riverside wines.
