1999 Vintage wine

1999, a surprising vintage. In Bordeaux, the 1999 wines are very good. Struck by rain weather conditions during theharvest, we are still talking aout a very successful vintage. Among the best successes are the Château Margaux 1999, the Château La Mission Haut Brion 1999, the Château Palmer 1999, the Château Lafite Rothschild 1999, Château Mouton Rothschild 1999, the Château Lafleur 1999 and Petrus 1999. The Sauternes are good, elegant and keep well. The reference is Château d‘Yquem 1999. In the Burgundy region, the red wines are very good. The greatest successes are among the Richebourg, Echézeaux and Clos de Tart appellations. In the Rhône Valley, the 1999 vintage offers very great red wines.
