1998 Vintage wine

In all France, 1998 is a good vintage or even very good as in the Rhone

In Bordeaux there are inequalities: some wines are supple and fast evolving, others have hard tannins. There are successes of great watch with the Château Haut Brion 1998, le Château Montrose, le Château Latour 1998, le Château Mouton Rothschild 1998, le Château Pichon-Longueville Baron 1998, le Château Leoville Las Cases 1998 et le Château Margaux 1998.

The Sauternes are very well constituted and very good guard .

In Burgundy the 1998 wines are fruity and seductive, structured and fleshy, carved for the guard. In the Rhône Valley, especially in Southern rhone the wines are superb, such as the greatest wines of Châteauneuf-du-Pape. There are also a sucessful wines in Nothern Rhône in Cornas and Côte-Rôtie appellations.
