The Sauternes are excellent like the Chateau D‘Yquem 1980 and the Chateau Climens 1980 which offer fine and very successful wines. Then, in Burgundy, red wines are good but uneven depending on the domain. In the Rhône Valley, the wines are of average quality. However, the Châteauneuf-du-Pape and Hermitage appellations are superior.
