Very mature colour but there still is red at the centre; the nose has depth and dimensions, hint of fruit, spices, wood and soy, tea, very mature but no disturbing elements; medium weight, still harmonious albeit with a certain sweetness of decay and still sturdy tannins (very 1952); hint of overripeness on the finish (banana) but the length and persistence are good. An elderly gentleman, but still alive. The next morning very stable still.
