The 1960 wines, a satisfying vintage in Burgundy
The wines of 1960 in Bordeaux are not good. The unstable and rainy weather disrupted the quality of the grapes as well as the harvests. However, the châteaux which have stood out with great success are the Château Latour 1960, Château Montrose 1960 and Château Gruaud Larose 1960.
Moreover, in Burgundy, the red wines of the 1960 vintage are very good despite the weather conditions deteriorating shortly before the harvest. There are still good quality wines, well structured and with character.
