Château Clarke Edmond De Rothschild

In the twelfth century, the Cistercian monks of the Abbey of Vertheuil implanting the first vines. The Chateau Clarke finally acquired its name in 1818 when Sir Toby Clarke bought the land. Baron Edmond de Rothschild became the owner in 1973. Benjamin and Ariane de Rothschild have now taken the field. The vines of Château Clarke is composed of Cabernet Sauvignon 30%, 70% Merlot, planted on a limestone and clay-Eocene calcareous (6060 p / ha. ). The size is double Guyot. The wines of Chateau Clarke: The nose is particularly expressive and charming with hints of very ripe fruit and fine woody and discreet cedar, vanilla, licorice, toasted almonds and cocoa. The attack is straightforward and tasty followed by a palate rich, meaty and balanced. We find in the final result and aromatic complexity that they had appreciated the nose, with good length suggesting a potential.
