Information on the vintage 1952 red Bordeaux: 2- The growing season was very satisfactory up until September which was cold and unsettled. The harvest was fairly early and I suspect the unripeness of some of the crop is responsible for its vulnerability.

Blending Cabernet Sauvignon (50%), Merlot (45%) and Petit Verdot grown on Garonne gravels, this wine shows its Médoc character both in its intense color and its bouquet with notes of red fruits (raspberry), spices and toast. Well-structured, elegant, while maintaining a certain roundness, the palate shows good aging potential
