Serge Lepoutre operates this small 3-hectare vineyard located in the hamlet of Pourret near the medieval city, on the road to Libourne. His 2005 (rated ** - remarkable wine) has a beautiful appearance. With a deep, almost black color, it delivers fruity aromas (cherry in brandy) that stand up to the barrel aging. On the palate, the fruit is also omnipresent, accompanied by an animal touch and solid, woody tannins, whose persistence guarantees good aging potential. Keep for five years before considering pairing it with white meat.
