Our opinion on the 2017 vintage: a qualitative vintage in all regions. In 2017, Bordeaux producers were hard hit by frost. The result is an early and historically low harvest, however, the 2017 vintage is still very qualitative, especially in red. However, it is a little premature to define the quality of Sauternes, but the climatic conditions were met during the harvest. In Burgundy, the 2017 vintage is very satisfactory. 2017 was a particularly successful year for white wines, particularly in Chablis and Mâconnais. The red wines are also of very good quality. Finally, the northern and southern Rhône harvests were small, but of high quality, producing elegant and concentrated wines with sophisticated tannins and great depth.

In Bordeaux, orient yourself towards wines from the Saint-Estèphe and Pauillac appellations which distinguished themselves that year.
