Château Clauzet in Saint-Estèphe, this small 8-hectare estate in Saint-Estèphe has just been classified as Cru Bourgeois Supérieur. The project began in 1997 with a team formed around Baron Maurice Velge (Château de Côme) including notably José Bueno, winemaker for 23 years at Domaines Barons de Rothschild (Mouton Rothschild, d'Armailhac, Clerc Milon...) A team of seasoned professionals, passionate about Médoc and this corner of land, Saint-Estèphe, where they successfully attempt to express, vintage after vintage, all the power, refined character, and sensuality. A master's wine still accessible!
