A very impressive performance for this vineyard. Couvent des Jacobins is characterized by an intense ruby color with purple reflections. The nose offers a bouquet of spices, licorice, and black fruits wrapped in an earthy scent. The palate is full, concentrated with black fruits and refined tannins. A beautiful length with a still dominant, smooth, and flattering oakiness. Opulent finish with black fruits and spices.
Blend: 85% Merlot, 15% Cabernet Franc
