Very beautiful dark red with black reflections. Slight evolution on the rim. The wine is better in the decanted glass. Non-decanted it has an undergrowth note somewhat reminiscent of cork. Should be purer. The palate is pleasant. It conforms to the Saint-Pierre style, elongated and rather elegant. But in this vintage the power is lacking in the mid-palate and finish. It can be drunk. Normal length on a tannicity with a cedar taste. Note that the non-decanted wine is much firmer, even rustic.
