Expert's opinions
Wonderful nose, but very tertiary. Lots of damp soil and wet stone, reminiscent of a forest during a downpour. Some peppery notes, but never veering to vegetal. Good flavor, quite sweet and generous, perhaps a bit low in acidity. Let down by the complete absence of any tannin, which means it doesn't have much structure to keep it from becoming a bit cloying on the finish.
